HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR E-HYBRID
MAXIMISING PERFORMANCE
If you’re thinking of making the switch from petrol to e-HYBRIDs (PHEVs), here are a few hints and tips to ensure you get the most out of it.
CHARGING
Charging your e-HYBRID regularly, either at home or work, allows you to complete more journeys on electric power. Find out more.
If you purchase a Leon or Leon Estate e-HYBRID and switch to a dual fuel home energy supply from our partner Octopus Energy, you'll be eligible for a £90 saving on your energy bill. If you're already an Octopus Energy customer, you can save too^ Sign up to Octopus Go, a 100% renewable smart tariff, you'll find it’s perfect for charging your new SEAT e-HYBRID at home. Offering 12p/kWh electricity between 0.30am-4:30am every night, you can charge your e-HYBRID while you sleep and keep your fuel costs down to as little as 3p per mile*. BRAKING
With regenerative braking, the Leon e-HYBRID can recharge the battery while you're on the move. Braking moderately helps to charge the battery, so you could use less petrol and produce lower emissions.
HEATING & COOLING
Use the pre-heating and pre-cooling functions whilst charging. This means that you can maximise the range by not having to use them as much when you're on the move. This can ensure that your e-HYBRID will be as ready for the working day as you are.
LOADING
Typically cars that weigh less travel further and may use less fuel. Pack smart and light to see if you can maximise your charge.
